International Internship Program – Ahmadabad, India
The International Committee is coordinating with HCP Project Design and Management to provide internship opportunities for young and emerging urban planning professionals in Ahmedabad, India. Paid Internships are available with HCP Project Design and Management, a large Urban Planning and Design Firm that provides a variety of urban planning and design services in Gujarat Region of India. HCP has prepared master plans for a wide variety of projects, including the revitalization of the riverfront in Ahmedabad, recreation and tourism planning for Mumbai, and a development plan for Gandinagar, the capital of Gujarat.
Desired term of paid internships with HCP are one to two years in length, and includes sufficient salary to support living expenses in Ahmedabad. Minimum qualifications for the positions are a Masters Degree in Urban Planning, one to two years of experience in Urban Planning is preferred. Applicants accepted as Interns will also receive a $300 grant from the American Planning Association, Northern California Section.
