A Bold New Future for Autonomous Vehicles
March 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
For years we’d been told that we were on the cusp of a transportation revolution, and that the rollout and widespread adoption of autonomous vehicles, just on the horizon, would redefine mobility in our cities and beyond. As time passed, however, technological constraints proved to be challenging hurdles to surmount. But companies have been making significant inroads and, as of this moment, six have received approval from the California DMV to test driverless vehicles on city streets. Is the driverless future now within reach? Join our panel as they explore what comes next for autonomous vehicles in California, the effect that they’ll have on our cities and what needs to happen so they can be drivers of equity and sustainability.
