Under the direction of the Community Development Director, the Development Services Manager will be directly responsible for managing the “one stop” Permit Center operations and leading a multi-disciplinary team. This position will ensure proper coordination of all permit applications; provides timely service to all customers; and coordinates with the general public and other departments and divisions.
The goal of the Development Services Manager is to enhance customer service, by implementing best practices, including: utilizing social media, processes, converting to digital/paperless document processing, and establishing performance standards. A successful applicant will be an effective leader and have the capacity to build positive partnerships while being organized and innovative.
