City of Dublin – Principal Planner

The City of Dublin, a dynamic and diverse community, is seeking a Principal Planner. This position provides an excellent career opportunity for obtaining a broad range of experience involving management of complex Advanced and Current Planning projects.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in city or regional planning, urban planning, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is highly desirable.
  2. Experience: Four years of progressively responsible, professional level experience in current and advanced planning which includes at least one year of supervisory experience. Local government, large-scale development and planned growth management experience is highly desirable.
  3. Licenses, Certificates, Special Requirements: Possession of a valid California Class C Drivers’ License and Certificate of Automobile Insurance for Personal Liability.
