  • BA/BS or graduate degree in environmental studies, biology, planning, or related field.
  • Work experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) required.
  • Superior technical writing skills.
  • Operating knowledge of GIS software/geospatial technology.


  • Analyze public and private projects pursuant to State and federal environmental laws and regulations.
  • Compile documentation describing site conditions and potential environmental impacts.
  • Develop and incorporate mitigation strategies/measures.
  • Assist with the coordination of permit and entitlement approvals.
  • Team with engineers, site designers and other specialists.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agency and client representatives on all phases of contract performance.
  • Assist with formulation of work programs, budgets and proposals, and manage project workflow.
