Siskiyou – Senior Planner

Under limited direction, plans, develops, and implements complex professional planning projects on the most difficult current and/or advanced planning projects; develops recommendations on planning policy formulation and implementation; directs the work of major planning programs; prepares plans and technical reports; prepares environmental documents individually or through the use of consultants; and performs related work as required.

Typical Qualifications:  Five years of increasingly responsible planning experience in the public and/or private sector, including one year in a lead capacity. Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in urban, regional, or resource planning, or a related field. A master’s degree in urban, regional or resource planning may be substituted for one year of experience.
