Under the general direction of the Deputy Director, Planning and Modal Programs, the incumbent acts as a representative of and provides support to the Deputy Director across all aspects of the program. The incumbent will coordinate and track implementation of the 2021 Planning and Modal Programs Strategic Plan, as well as provide review, analysis, and recommendations to the Deputy Director on the wide array of policy, planning, and administrative issues that are presented to Planning and Modal Programs. A main focus of the incumbent is to provide strategic federal 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act support to the Department. As a representative of the Deputy Director, the incumbent will manage tasks and coordinate activities that involve multiple divisions, districts, partners, or other governmental agencies. The incumbent has skills in leadership and organization, interest in supporting the Department’s and Program’s strategic goals and vision, a spirit of innovation, and a commitment to advancing equity through all efforts.
