The Urban Planning Tour of Brazil, organized by the Northern California Section of the American Planning Association (International Committee) kicks off this weekend in Sao Paulo for a 2 and 1/2 week visit through the country, including stops in Rio, Brasilia, and Curitiba. Meetings will include visits with Academics in Brasilia to discuss the history and evolution of the city and meetings with public and private sector planners in Rio, discussing initial preparation for the 2016 Olympics.
