APA California — Northern is excited to announce that the application opportunity for the 2026 Awards Program will open January 19 and will close March 1, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Northern’s Awards Program celebrates excellence in planning and shines a spotlight on the people and projects that make a meaningful difference in our communities. Each year, we recognize outstanding plans, innovative projects, dedicated APA members, and community partners whose contributions elevate the planning profession throughout the Northern Section.
Award recipients receive well-deserved recognition—and many go on to earn honors at the State and National levels. We encourage you to share your work, celebrate your colleagues, and help highlight the impactful planning happening across our region.
