APA California — Sacramento Valley: 2026 Speaker Series, Building Better Communities Together
We hope you can join us in person, but we will also offer a live-streaming option for all sessions at the same price as attending in person.
Hosted by:

A region coming together for transformative change in our communities—the kind of change that creates resilient, livable communities—takes partnerships among multiple agencies and organizations. Together, we accomplish what one agency or organization could not do alone—in this case, in implementing the Sacramento region’s long-range plan, the 2025 Blueprint. Local initiatives presented during this session serve as evidence that established relationships grew stronger by including new community partners and that those partners amplified voices and outcomes.
The 2026 Speaker Series theme, Building Better Communities Together, focuses on strengthening relationships and bringing together the diverse voices that create resilient and livable communities. It will highlight collaborative stories across the sectors, disciplines, and communities that have depended on new and old relationships to advance planning.
