Aarti Shrivastava, AICP

Aarti Shrivastava is an experienced planning professional and former Assistant City Manager for the Cities of Cupertino and Mountain View, where she oversaw Community Development departments and supported multidisciplinary teams. Throughout her career, she has worked on several major planning initiatives, including projects involving Apple Inc. and Google, as well as advanced planning projects including General Plan and Specific Plans. She has remained deeply committed to professional development, mentoring staff, strengthening collaboration across departments, and helping employees build the skills needed to manage complex projects and grow as leaders. She is passionate about creating meaningful development opportunities that emphasize leadership, project management, team building, and the important role planners play as agents of change.
