Stuart Poulter, AICP, is the Wildfire Resilience & Environmental Program Manager at Sequoia Ecological Consulting, Inc., where he leads CEQA compliance and wildfire resilience projects across the Bay Area, Central Coast, and Sierra Foothills. With more than a decade of environmental consulting practice, his work has spanned CEQA/NEPA compliance, wildfire resilience planning, climate adaptation, housing and safety element updates, and contract planning for private and public clients throughout Northern and Central California. A former board member of the AEP Monterey Bay–Silicon Valley Chapter and a 2024 graduate of the California Planning Roundtable & APA California Planning Leadership Academy, Stuart also serves on Monterey County's Carmel Unincorporated/Highlands Land Use Advisory Committee. He holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and lives and works from Carmel on the Monterey Peninsula.
