Have you (or someone you know) made exceptional and sustained contributions to the planning profession and society? Have you been an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) member for at least 10 years? The American Planning Association’s Professional Institute recently released the nomination guidelines for the 2024 Class of Fellows of the American Institute of Certified Planners (FAICP) and the submittal deadline is fast approaching.
The California Chapter of the American Planning Association, through its FAICP Nominating Committee, seeks to recognize California’s amazing collection of innovative and accomplished planners. The Chapter and Committee are particularly interested in broadening the diversity and inclusivity of our FAICP class to include more women and more planners of color.
We need your help to spread the word and to let us know about potential candidates seeking California Chapter nomination to the College of Fellows. If you are interested, or would like to nominate someone, please email the Committee via robo@berkeley.edu to submit your statement of interest, including your current CV/resume, and receive a brief questionnaire to complete.
For full consideration, please submit your statement of interest to the Committee by March 15, 2023 for earliest consideration. The Committee will then work with applicants to complete the nomination packets by August 1, 2023, for the Chapter to submit them to the national FAICP Selection Committee.
