You’re invited – Improving tribal consultation listening session

APA California and the California Planning Roundtable are pleased to co-host, along with UC Irvine and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte an upcoming listening session for local California land use planners to understand their experiences in developing equitable land-use policies with neighboring Native American Nations and tribal communities.
The goal of the listening session is to further identify local and statewide land-use planning and environmental justice needs in Native American Communities. Similar listening sessions will be held with tribal members. The findings of these sessions can help inform future policy work to uplift Native perspectives within the field of urban planning.
