
Keyanna Ortiz-Cedeño, AICP
Keyanna Ortiz-Cedeño, AICP, is dedicated to advancing housing equity, disaster resilience, and human rights in communities across the U.S. and internationally. She served as a Housing Advisory Commissioner and Commissioner on the Status of Women for the City of Berkeley, and has applied her cultural curiosity and placemaking skills across the public, private, and non-profit sector. As a host on the Latinos and Planning Division’s Plan Dulce podcast, Keyanna elevates Latino voices in planning and fosters dialogue on inclusive urban futures. Her work spans disaster recovery initiatives in Hawai’i, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands; consulting for HUD and the CFPB, homelessness diversion programming; and international planning collaborations focused on sustainable development and positive peace building. Keyanna holds a Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley and a BA in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies from Swarthmore College.
