Management Analyst III – Sustainability Program

The Management Analyst III in the County Administrative Office – Sustainability Program is a key role in the program’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and to prepare the county for the effects of climate change through adaptation projects. This position will assist in the implementation of the County’s Community Climate Action & Adaption Plan and the Municipal Climate Action Plan, which are expected to be adopted in the Summer of 2025. This role requires general sustainability experience across a wide range of topics, will assist in the management of sustainability staff, and be responsible for developing and managing grant opportunities to achieve the County’s climate action goals. Primary mitigation project areas of focus include transportation, building electrification and efficiency, and agriculture and natural lands. The ideal candidate will excel at developing and managing grant funding proposals and budgets from concept to grant close-out, collaborating across departments and partner organizations, and managing multiple projects.
