Call for nominations: APA California – Northern Treasurer
APA California – Northern is seeking nominations for the Board position of Treasurer. The selected candidate will serve a two-year term, commencing January 1, 2026.
Position responsibilities
As described in the Section Bylaws, the Treasurer’s responsibilities include:
- Preparing the annual budget
- Managing the bank account
- Overseeing the collection of funds at events and programs
- Submitting financial reports to Northern’s Board and the State Chapter
- Serving on the Northern’s Executive Committee
How to prepare and submit your nomination
Interested Northern members are encouraged to submit a nomination petition by December 8, 2025, to Nomination Committee Chair, Jeff Bond, AICP, at directorelect@norcalapa.org.
The petition must include the following:
- Name
- Address associated with your APA membership
- Preferred email address
- Preferred phone number
- A brief statement of interest (500-word maximum)
- Signatures of support from at least five (5) current Northern members
Selection Process
Statements from qualifying candidates will be published in an upcoming edition of the Northern News. If more than one nomination is received, the position will be filled by a vote of Northern’s membership.
