
2026 National Planning Conference
The 2026 National Planning Conference (NPC), hosted by the American Planning Association, will take place in Detroit at the Huntington Place Convention Center from April 25–28, 2026, with an additional online conference scheduled for May 27–29, 2026. The event gathers over 5,000 planning professionals each spring to network, share innovations, and participate in a range of educational sessions, workshops, and keynote speeches. The in-person and online conferences offer similar but distinct programming, providing accessible options for attendees.
