This event will showcase cutting-edge research on climate equity, urban design, and public health, exploring urgent questions such as:
- How can a digital twin of the Bay (a virtual replica of a city or region) improve air quality monitoring, shape policies that protect children’s health, and promote public infrastructure efficiency improvements?
- How can virtual reality be used to assess and address energy vulnerabilities in communities?
- To what extent does landscape influence the interaction between urban heat and pollution, and how can data be leveraged to inform sustainable urban design?
- How can improved understanding of natural and social forces affecting vulnerability inform better design for flood risk reduction?
