Gil Navarrete
SJSU Student Representative
Gil is a Long Beach, CA native who moved to the Bay Area in 2015 where he attended UC Berkeley and got his B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy. Today, he is interning for the City of San Jose where he works on Active Transportation infrastructure while getting his Master's in Urban Planning at San Jose State University. He has extensive experience working with ESRI's GIS Suite, Data Management, and Customer Service and aims to work as a Planner once he graduates. Some of his interests include Transportation Planning, Urban Design, Sustainable Development, and anything GIS related. In his free time, he likes to play guitar and likes to learn through various mediums.
