Martin Reyes, AICP

A professional civil engineer and transportation planner with over 11 years of experience, Martin has led transformative transportation and land use initiatives in both Southern California and in the Bay Area. Martin currently works as a Principal Transportation Planner for the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. Previously, Martin served as the Transportation Deputy and Assistant Director for Planning and Development for Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis spearheading major policy shifts and projects. He also served as a civil engineer for Los Angeles County Public Works, one of the largest public works agencies in the nation. Martin received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cal State Northridge, a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Cal State Fullerton, and a master’s degree in urban planning from UCLA.
