Dorothy is the Northern California Transportation Planning Section Manager and Project Manager at HDR. She supports various projects types including, multimodal and complete streets, community engagement, community impact assessments, and traffic analysis. Recently, Dorothy is focusing her work on helping transportation agencies integrate equity and the consideration of environmental justice early in their programs, projects, and plans. Prior to HDR, Dorothy had roles in the public and non-profit sectors in California, New York and New Jersey, including the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), NYC Mayor’s Office, The Horticultural Society of New York, Rutgers University Department of Transportation, and Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition. Dorothy obtained her Master of City and Regional Planning degree from Rutgers University and B.S. degree in Environmental Science at UCLA.
